Citumang comes from a legend about a crocodile stump or buaya buntung, named Si Tumang. So strong belief of the presence of the buaya buntung so that until now leave their name attached to the name of the river strong. Other versions Citumang story, derived from Cai (Sundanese language = water) which numpang (cai numpang) associated with the river water flowing underground and then changed the name so Citumang.
